There is a true deep awe when we have to intervene with such depths as we did in this project. Awe for Mallorca, awe for Mediterranean way of living and a solid respect for a tradition.
\nThis house was carefully and entirely refurbished with extremely detailed choices guided by us with a close approach from our client and the sageness of a catered team. <\/p>\n
Ripped to the bone to redress its functionality and bring the soul of a timeless architecture back and adding an elegance that only special brass details can give.
\nThe welcoming spaces were opened to allow the slow living breeze to flow freely and the materials were chosen for their tradition and warmness: we applied hydraulic tiles, the very identity of early Spanish craft, together with warm oak wood, both on surfaces as well as furniture, matched by Binisalem local stone. The guarantee of quality was given by our chosen brands that have accompanied us for so many years and have never let us down amongst which Iconico for the appliances, Laufen for basins and Mosaic del Sur for hydraulic tilling.<\/p>\n
The outdoor was merged into a continuum with the indoor living and enhanced brilliantly with natural tones, vintage aged tiles and, again, the gold of the sun in the brass shower.
\nWhen we do these kinds of projects, we are never sure if we frame nature or it is nature who frames our meticulous work, either way, the final result is so mesmerizing and brings so much dignity to what was a rundown house.<\/p>\n
Through the images we give you, we are describing a 3 story building in a golden spot of Mallorca. A playful attic space designed with a wine cellar included, carefully curated to expand the experience of leisure. A private floor holding 3 bedrooms in the nestled quietness of the island and the main welcoming ground floor with double terraces. The time of completion was a little under 9 months, a big little miracle given the scope of the works.<\/p>\n
We renewed what was to be renewed, respected what was dignifying to respect and uplifted what we knew would bring into the mathematical formula a coefficient of blissfulness, making the experience of living upgraded not only functionally but also aesthetically.<\/p>\n
