Endless Mediterranean Blue
Set high above Puerto Portals, on the prestigious hill of Costa d’en Blanes, this modern home is shaped by one of its greatest natural assets: the endless Mediterranean blue visible from almost every window.
The interior concept was inspired by the changing tones of the sea and sky. Rather than competing with the view, the design brings these colours indoors, creating a home that feels bright, fresh and naturally connected to its surroundings. Neutral materials form the base, while carefully selected accents of blue, green and vibrant colour introduce energy and personality.
Designer Crearte chairs, vintage rugs, Frezzoli lampshades, colourful cushions and unique decorative pieces add warmth and contrast to the understated architectural finishes. Each element was chosen to feel individual while remaining part of a coherent visual story.
Luminous blues and greens continue throughout the home, accompanied by bespoke basket pendant lamps that bring texture and a relaxed Mediterranean touch. In the swimming pool area, blue Gervasoni sun loungers strengthen the connection with the sea and create an inviting setting for outdoor island living.
The bedrooms were given their own identity through Farrow & Ball wallpapers, selected to complement the fabrics and colour palette of each room. These details bring warmth, softness and a playful elegance.
The panoramic terrace became one of the key spaces of the project. Different shades of blue were layered through the outdoor fabrics, allowing the furniture to blend naturally with the horizon and surrounding landscape.
The result is a home that feels colourful without being overwhelming, elegant without losing its sense of ease, and luxurious while remaining warm and joyful. It reflects the relaxed spirit of Mallorca: open, luminous and designed to be enjoyed.
